Node Package Manager (NPM)
Starting an web application from scratch is an hassle when done manually. Node Packager Manager(npm) written in Node.js ease this pain by configuring several libraries and framework required for front end tooling.
All the node modules are installed in /usr/local/lib/node_modules
To perform modules cleanup
npm uninstall -g grunt-cli
npm uninstall -g bower
.... specify other modules in the directory to uninstall those modules..
apt-get remove npm
Preparation Phase
apt-get install npm (Node Package Manager)
Framework & Build Tools Required
npm install -g yo (Yeomen)
npm install -g grunt-cli (Grunt Task Runner)
npm install -g bower (Bower Package Manager)
npm install -g [email protected] (AngularJS Generator)
Scaffolding your project
mkdir dashboard && cd $_
yo angular <projectname>
To launch your dashboard
grunt serve
